TOOTH TREATMENT

What is Tooth Treatment?

Decayed tooth/teeth or missing tooth/teeth due to a trauma, colour impairments, crooked tooth/teeth can be filled and restored by fillings; except these canal therapy is available for our patient. Canal Therapy is one of the recognized methods which allows us to restore and protect your damaged tooth or teeth.

Canal Treatment

If your tooth is severely decayed or seriously inflamed it means that you may loose this tooth in future. If so, then your dentist may decide to carry out a canal treatment for you. This method covers a clean-up process of the nerve and vein tissue (dental pulp) which cause a rot problem at the socket of the pulp. By this treatment the root will be cleaned and the base of the tooth will remain as it is.

Conservative Treatment

A bacterial plate that occurs (forms)  in your mouth can contain excessive amounts of sugar and carbonhydrates and may cause an acidic medium due to food remnants. The acid will stick on your tooth and dissolve the enamel tissue. This process will end up by producing tooth decay. The objective of Conservative Therapy is to stop the development of decays and to avoid tooth loss, thus it preserves both the appearance of the tooth and mouth. Thereby peripheral tissues of the face can be preserved too. Conservative Therapy shall also allow the patient to regain normal functioning properties of his/her tooth and mouth.

Endodontics Treatment:

Inside the hard tissue of the tooth, there is a tiny chamber which gives life to a tooth. This is the place where dental nerves and veins are widely spread. This structure facilitates the growth and maintenance of the tooth and also warns you when decay has formed.  If the tooth is not treated properly, as time goes by, severe pain and aching typically occur at this part of your mouth, as dental pulp is affected by the inflammation. After this stage acids secreted by the bacteria will kill the dental pulp. As a consequence, toxins seep out from the rot and then spread to your jawbone.

An inflammation will occur in your jawbone, and this will lead to tooth lost and peripheral tissues will become damaged. We advise to consult a dentist before you reach a stage where you can loose your tooth/teeth and face serious disorders that may have a serious impact on the dental nerve region. Your tooth can be saved at this point by cleaning the neural tissue (under anaesthesia) and disinfecting the widened canals. After then, the pulp chamber is filed with special filings and this process can be extended to the tooth root. And the treated tooth can remain in your mouth for many years.
