ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH DURING PREGNANCY

How does make dental health during pregnancy?

Before deciding to get pregnant you should visit your dentist and control your oral–tooth health condition. After that you should make daily care of your teeth regularly. Then you should make periodic dental care.

During pregnancy physiological changes will occur and therefore this stage is a very sensitive  one.

As an example, hormonal balances will abruptly change during pregnancy and  may lead to hypersensitivity in your gums. Further more, nausea will cause difficulties in the management of oral hygiene and tooth care.

Reflux is also a frequently encountered condition in pregnant women as it will form an acidic medium in the pregnant women’s mouth and allow decays to rapidly develop or cause the development of new decays.
